Next week we continue our series of fun and casual wine dinners on Wednesday, June 27 with Raft Wines. We are super excited to have winemaker and Duck Daughter Jennifer Reichardt at Hopscotch to taste us through four of her incredible wines. Chef Kyle will prepare a four-course menu to pair with the wines highlighting the best of the season's ingredients. This dinner will be $58 per person, including food and wine. 

Throughout this series we will do our best to keep the cost of these dinners low - we want anyone who’s interested to be able to join us and gather with these fresh faces of the wine industry. Despite that, at each dinner we will taste some wine that is rare or not currently available to the public.

We will do an early seating (arrival 5:00-5:15pm) and a late seating (arrival 8:00-8:15pm).  Reservations for this dinner can be made online here - choose a reservation that is noted WINE DINNER.  If there is not a WINE DINNER reservation available, please call us at (510) 788-6217.

July, Date TBD - Tessier Winery’s Kristie Tacey
Kristie's scientist brain and her creative soul inspire her consistently lovely wines and we have always been a fan.  No longer just a Pinot gal, she is now making Riesling, Viognier, Grenache and Cabernet Franc as well — always single vineyard. We are thrilled to have her share her latest releases as well as some library wines we’ve had cellared for a while. Keep an eye out for more details in the coming weeks. 

Thursday, August 23 - Iconnu Wine’s Laura Brennan Bissel
Laura is one of our favorite winemakers in the California Natural Wine movement. She is making small amounts of beautiful wines with great attention to detail from the vineyard to the bottle. She is one who clarifies that natural wines need not be flawed wines. Hers are approachable, clean, elegant and alive.  Join us for the evening to learn more about this young winemaker on the rise.
