Next week we continue our series of fun and casual wine dinners at Hopscotch with Inconnu Wine on Thursday, August 23. Inconnu founder and winemaker Laura Brennan Bissel is one of our favorite winemakers in the California Natural Wine movement. She is making small amounts of beautiful wines with great attention to detail from the vineyard to the bottle. Laura is one who clarifies that natural wines need not be flawed wines. Hers are approachable, clean, elegant and alive. Chef Kyle will prepare a four-course dinner to pair with four of Laura's wines - all for $58 per person. Throughout this series we will do our best to keep the cost of these dinners low - we want anyone who’s interested to be able to join us and gather with these fresh faces of the wine industry. Despite that, at each dinner we will taste some wine that is rare or not currently available to the public.
